A Marriage of Comfort

“Marry me. Aren't you afraid of dying?” Rumor has it that the blind Mo Chenyu is a born harbinger of calamity, having caused the deaths of his parents, his sister, and three fiancées. Su Xiaoning marries him, fully prepared to die. She expects to spend their married life taking care of him, but instead, he spoils her rotten. He says, “You're my woman. I'm the only one allowed to bully you.” He says, “Anyone who dares lay a hand on my woman will wish they were dead.” He even says, “My woman is going to give me a whole bunch of children.” Su Xiaoning gets angry. “Who said I'd give you a whole bunch of children?” The man brings out a video of their wedding. In it, she looks utterly serious as she says, “I'll do my best to give you children!” Blushing, she denies it. “That doesn't count! You were still pretending to be blind at the wedding!” He nods. “Get ready. We'll have another wedding.”
