I Won't Let You Escape, My Lady

[Sweet romance, a runaway bride with a child, and a groveling chase to win her back] [Playboy and libertine vs. hot-tempered, free-spirited fashion designer] On the day of their wedding, Li Wan runs away. Five years later, she reappears with an adorable four-year-old. Huo Lingtian, the young master of the Huo family and the jilted groom, once gritted his teeth and swore: If this woman ever shows up again, he’ll do everything in his power to torment and humiliate her. But when they finally meet again, he never expects that... he can’t even beat this tigress. Later, the carefree playboy loses his heart and falls in love. From then on, all he sees and thinks about is Li Wan. “Wanwan, we’re still married. I still have a chance, right?” Li Wan: “Go back where you came from. Your love is cheap, and I don’t want it anymore!” The little one puts on a stern, disgusted face. “Daddy, go away. My mommy is perfect on her own!” Later still, Huo Lingtian pins Li Wan in a corner and pleads hoarsely, “Wife, look at me.” Li Wan: “I’m blind. I can’t see you!” It’s all right. I’ll pursue you with all my heart and love you with everything I have. One day, you’ll change your mind. I can wait. In the end, Huo Lingtian pours out all the love in the world to make Li Wan remember one phrase: “The sky darkens late.” Huo Lingtian’s “Tian,” and Li Wan’s “Wan.”
