A Gentle Kiss

Zhou Wenyu and Wen Er yang, the childhood sweetheart he knew when they were six or seven, meet for the first time as adults on her first day at her new school. Not only does she fail to recognize him, she sincerely tells him, “You've lost weight.” “...” How do I quietly get rid of her? Asking for a friend, and it's kind of urgent. He thought he could pick up where their childhood friendship, forged through thick and thin, had left off. Unfortunately, he never expected things to go too far. Zhou Wenyu secretly sends her breakfast anonymously, only for the girl to nearly toss it straight into the trash. He quietly reminds himself that he was the one who upset her first, then diligently writes her an apology note. He willingly takes on the role of her behind-the-scenes helper, striving to become the go-to guy who gets sent wherever he's needed, all while figuring out how to step into the spotlight and make himself known. Until one day, Wen Eryang's eyes are still red. She swallows back a sob and reaches out to him. “Can you give me a hug?” “I'm a little scared.” Like a princess stumbling forward, yet rushing without hesitation toward the knight who has always protected her. Before I met you, the world had lost its color. When we met again, everything turned into your colors. Bright and vivid. A roguish, proud fake school bully who's always ending up at rock bottom and regretting everything vs. A top student with a difficult temperament, but who's sweet and well-behaved most of the time, quiet, and occasionally a drama queen
