Murder Caught on Tape

Chu Xiaoxiao goes on a late-night drinking binge at a bar with her heartbroken best friend, where she runs into her ex-boyfriend Lu Wen, whom she broke up with a year ago.

The two chat happily at the bar. When it's time to leave, they're both drunk. Lu Wen offers to take Chu Xiaoxiao home, and she doesn't refuse.

Lu Wen hails a taxi. Under the influence of alcohol, they fall asleep as soon as they get in.

When they wake up the next day, they find themselves in the middle of nowhere.

The taxi driver never took them home. They drank so much the night before that they blacked out and can't remember anything that happened.

A week later, Chu Xiaoxiao and Lu Wen each receive a videotape. It shows the two of them committing a murder.
