Huo Guang, a Powerful Official in the Western Han Dynasty

Huo Guang, a politician in the Western Han Dynasty, lived through the four dynasties of Emperor Wu, Emperor Zhao, Emperor Abandoned, and Emperor Xuan of the Western Han Dynasty, and rose to the rank of Great Sima General. He was the half-brother of Huo Qubing, an outstanding general and national hero of the Western Han Dynasty. He was the maternal grandfather of Emperor Zhao's Empress Shangguan and the father of Huo Chengjun, Empress Xuan's Empress. This book divides Huo Guang's life into three parts: a diligent and capable personal adviser, a leading and supportive minister who inherited the past and the future, and a strong and strong minister who decisively abolished the establishment. It narrates and describes the legendary story of Huo Guang after entering the capital and entering the palace. This book adheres to the unity of history and literature, knowledge and artistry, seriousness and fun, and reveals that centralized autocracy leads to arrogance and extravagance in those in power, power and interests lead to relatives and friends turning against each other, evil villains take advantage of one's own weaknesses, and lax discipline leads to family members relying on the situation and acting inappropriately. It has practical educational significance.
