Great Tang: The Divine Crown Prince

After transmigrating to the Tang Dynasty, Li Ce opened a small tavern in Chang'an.

His culinary ideas from a later age won over many people, including a customer called Old Li.

Old Li was a big spender, but he talked too much, always asking sensitive questions that could get a man executed.

Then one day, Li Ce was secretly summoned to the palace.

Old Li, now dressed in imperial robes, turned around. “That's right, it's me. No more pretending: I'm Li Shimin! You're my own flesh and blood, born during my early years among the common people. After observing you, I've decided you're capable and qualified to be my crown prince...”

“Hold it! Hold it! I'm not interested in being crown prince. My goal is to be the richest man under heaven!”

Old Li: “With your ironmaking technology, new farming methods, salt-making techniques, genius strategies for the military and people's livelihoods, and wealth enough to rival a nation, if you won't be crown prince, who else is qualified?!”

Li Chengqian: “Father! If he's crown prince, what happens to me?!”
