Spring Beneath the Brocade Screen

Su Xiu'e's dream in life: have a child and land, but no man, and live freely for the rest of her days.

Her fiancé dies, and her husband's concubine is pregnant. Su Xiu'e puts on her wedding dress and marries into the Yang family. Her dream seems on the verge of coming true, but she has no idea that a young man will appear halfway through and ask, "Big sister, did you even ask me?"

She thought her heart was as still as an ancient well, but after years together, she realizes her love is waking. Beneath the embroidered screen, the spring breeze finally blows.
