Did the Regent Dote on His Wife Today?

In Fengyi Palace, Lin Daxi was sitting on the phoenix throne, her expression full of sadness. The palace people in front of her knelt on the ground, all trying to force her to give up the phoenix throne and die for the country. Oh, it's ridiculous, it's really ridiculous, Chu Baikou, I have been in love with you since I was twelve years old. After marrying you, I have been planning for you for half my life. I have only held the post for a few years, and you actually want me to die for my country. Lin Daxi's eyes were full of sadness. She sat up from the chair unsteadily and took off the phoenix crown on her head. She heard a "bang" sound and the phoenix crown hit the ground. Everyone in the room was shaken. Concubine Fan came in from the door and was shocked when she saw Lin Daxi like this. "Your Majesty, smashing the phoenix crown is a crime of beheading."
