The Charming Country Widow

After transmigrating, Wen Xiu finds herself in Xitang Village, where her in-laws had drowned her in a pond. She has three dilapidated rooms, an empty house, and not a scrap of land. Looking at her two children, hungry enough to be little bean sprouts, Wen Xiu grits her teeth and rolls up her sleeves. She hunts for food, gathers herbs, sells delicious dishes, and buys farmland, making life better and better. But then the deadbeat husband who disappeared years ago suddenly returns, and Wen Xiu beams like peach blossoms in spring.
