It All Began at the Battle of Changping

If I am in charge of horses, you call me coachman; if I am in charge of carts, you call me coachman; if I am in charge of accounts, what should you call me?

If you look carefully, it is a wonderful world, a world of flesh and blood, where everyone has their own glory and belief, and carries their own responsibilities and missions. Brotherhood, comradeship, the determination to sacrifice oneself, the will to defy obstacles, the hope of passing on the fire, countless complex emotions are intertwined and disappearing here. This book is very good, and what attracts me most is not the wonderful plot, but the characterization of the characters. As long as you look closely, countless fresh lives appear in front of your eyes, especially the stimulation of emotions, which is really exciting and endlessly emotional. Not much to say, anyway, you will never lose money. (Use your brain to read it, it will definitely not be confusing) [Legendary connotation]

A truly conscientious work requires patience. I suddenly found that I was too arbitrary in my previous treatment of Zhao Kuo. No matter what, Zhao Kuo fought for his country and died on the battlefield, but he stayed behind to "talk on paper."

This is the third time I have written a review of this book, and I always feel that the previous reviews are not enough to truly evaluate this book. First of all, this book is really good, at least the first few hundred chapters about the Battle of Changping are really good. My first impression of the Battle of Changping was the CCTV documentary "The Battle of Changping" I watched when I was a child. The tragic scene in which Zhao Kuo personally led his troops to break out of the encirclement really shocked me as a child. But as he grew older, his impression of Zhao Kuo also changed to that of a headstrong and talkative person. After reading this book, my inner admiration for Zhao Kuo burst out again. It is undeniable that Zhao Kuo, as the general, did not escape alone, but fought with the enemy to the death. This is enough to prove that he is a patriotic general. I personally think it is too much to revil a patriot through the ages. Moreover, Zhao Kuo was already in trouble. The embarrassment of Zhao's national strength forced the top management to turn defense to offense to end the war. Before Zhao Kuo set off, his opponent was Wang He, a mediocre general. Although he could deal with Lian Po for several years, the result of the battle was the west bank of Danshui, which was captured by surprise at the beginning. It is undeniable that Lian Po is very strong, but it can also be seen that Wang He is not as strong as the famous generals of his generation. It's just that Zhao Kuo was brought up by the Qin State, and the Qin State immediately replaced Bai Qi. This is like the leader of the novice village falling into the trap of the master. How can he have the power to make a comeback? In the later stages of the Changping War, the Zhao State was at an absolute disadvantage in all aspects. How could this be changed by just one general? Therefore, Zhao Kuo's eternal infamy is really overdue. Looking back at the Battle of Changping now, I really like what the author wrote. Although the brutality of the battlefield and the strength of the Qin army make people uncomfortable, it also shows the author's pragmatism and the difficulty of the Battle of Changping. Although everyone knows that the author's plan to break the situation will definitely be powerless on the Changping battlefield, it can also be said to be the author's hard work. When I read a book, I like to find a song that best suits the book. There are many war songs in my song list, but I fell in love with Immortal at first glance, so I listened to Immortal and read hundreds of chapters of the Battle of Changping. I really felt that the author wrote it very well. Today I rewatched the documentary about the Battle of Changping, and found that this song was used by Zhao Kuo personally to lead his troops to break out at the end of the film. I suddenly felt that the fate was really wonderful, and my mood suddenly improved. So I wrote this, my longest book review. (Advice for book lovers who haven't read it yet: Don't be too arrogant. This book is completely readable. IQ is online. But don't be too serious about some controversial content. The author's writing style may have a lot of typos.) (Suggestion for the author: Can you spend a little time correcting typos? Sometimes it is really easy to cause misunderstandings, and it should be more accurate.) (Thank you for reading my humble review carefully. If you agree with my point of view, please upvote me so that more people can see it. If you have any objections, please feel free to raise them. If you really think what I said is fallacy, you can start criticizing me. I have been criticized for three months in a row and I can bear it.)

There is a reason why this book has a low rating. I thought it was okay when I first watched it, but the more I watched it, the worse it became. First, the author spends too much energy on various tactical arrangements, has too many dialogues, does not distinguish between priorities, and the plot is protracted, making it difficult to be engaging. Second, there is a problem with the basic settings. As a modern person, it is a basic understanding that "Qin destroyed the six kingdoms and unified the world and completed the great unification." The author chose Zhao Kuo as the protagonist. Although the angle is new, it goes against the trend. The protagonist wants to save his life and defeats the Qin army. What next? Countries continue to divide. After flipping through the catalog, it seems that the protagonist will start to fight for hegemony later on. However, in the early stage, the protagonist, in addition to hating the war and showing pity to the people, did not have the idea of unifying the world and ending the war as soon as possible. This is not normal for a modern person.

This novel was recommended by a friend. It's really good. I highly recommend it.

Some chapters have a completely low word count. For completely irrelevant ones, you can write two or three chapters. It's really six. Don't go off topic, don't talk nonsense, and don't involve the War to Resist U. S. Aggression and Aid Korea when writing about the Warring States Period. You can just quote some battle tactics, but don't use too many chapters to cite them. You are too low on word count, and I don't like that about you. There is no doubt about the greatness of heroes, but this is not the reason for your low word count. You are writing a novel, not realism, so you know the positioning of your text, okay?

It would be perfect if there was a heroine

Bai Qi died at the hands of an ordinary young man from the 21st century who had no idea of his background.

The Battle of Changping is described in detail, with an overall view. It is a competition of power and strategy, and depicts the cruelty of war in every detail.
