My Daily Palace Battles with the Stand-In Emperor

In the fourteenth year of the Lingwu era, the Four Kings' Rebellion erupted. A civil official and a military official, both powerful ministers, stood as rivals on equal footing. And so, an emperor who merely filled the throne while a powerful minister held him in the palm of his hand came into being.

The civil official planted his illegitimate daughter in the palace and coerced her into becoming empress. But the young emperor secretly built up his power and quietly eliminated the empress. And so, a human surveillance device who had transmigrated into this world came into being.

The two clashed in secret, locked in a fierce contest. The young emperor, Long Tingyu, looked at her scornfully. “You're not much to look at, but your ambition is huge. Are you that desperate for my exclusive favor?”

“I wouldn't presume to expect your exclusive favor, Your Majesty. But if you want to spread your affection around, I'll just have to pay a visit to General Jin's residence. After all, you said everyone should be treated equally, didn't you?”

Long Tingyu: “...”

This woman! Was she actually planning to cheat on him right in front of his eyes?

“Attendants, issue my order. From today onward, I will be staying at Weiyang Palace, where I shall discuss the great undertaking of securing the nation's succession with the empress!”
