She Starts Her Journey to the West with a Cleaver

As a child, Jin Xiongxiong had the good fortune to encounter modern life and became a black bear who longed for freedom and independence. Later, she returned to Journey to the West and took the place of the black bear who stole the cassock from Black Wind Cave. She became the new king of Black Wind Cave, refused Guanyin of the South Sea's offer to recruit her, and earned her ire.

When beings from all realms mention the original black bear of Black Wind Cave, they look envious: "Truly blessed with good fortune."

When they mention Jin Xiongxiong, who took that black bear's place, they look disdainful: "A hopeless case."

Jin Xiongxiong can cook spiritual dishes and has powerful demons looking out for her. She has no interest in being a celestial immortal's gatekeeping bear. But whether she likes it or not, the plot insists she replace the black bear of Black Wind Cave and become the thief who keeps getting visits from Sun Wukong demanding the return of the cassock.

She keeps saying she didn't steal the cassock, but Sun Wukong still follows the plot and comes to her door again and again. In the end, he even brings Bodhisattva Guanyin, who kills the Spiritual Void Flower Snake and forces her to eat a red pill he has transformed into.

As the plot unfolds just like the Journey to the West she saw in the modern world... Jin Xiongxiong has no choice but to pull out a cleaver.

Who could have guessed that this utterly ordinary cleaver would ultimately turn the Six Realms upside down?
