An Impermanent's Breeding Diary

My life had barely begun when it ended beneath a pane of glass... and I became a ghost underground.

By a bizarre twist of fate, I met the two great figures in front of whom even the red-robed officials of Fengdu, rulers of the ghost realm and residents of the Hall of Impermanence, had to bow: the Black and White Impermanence, known among the living as Lord Qi and Lord Ba. Somehow, I became their tagalong and helped them catch ghosts. As it turned out, I was different from other people: I could actually smell the souls of the dead... (Though I'm not a dog.)

And so began my deeply annoying daily life with those two.

This hell isn't quite what you imagine. The most important job is catching ghosts, right? Isn't it just a matter of chasing them around? Hee hee, not at all! We have to dig up lonely ghosts from all across history, since they keep wandering around where they shouldn't. How do we do that? That's a secret.

P.S. I'm Zou Zhou, a little ghost (and yes, I'm disguised as a boy).
