Little Sea-Fishing Lucky Charm: Raising a Scholar-General

For five generations, the Song family has made its living fishing, and they are so poor they can barely put food on the table.

By the seaside, Song Junnian fishes a little girl, as lovely as a painted doll, out from among the shells. In a childish voice, she calls him "Uncle."

The little girl has a magical way with words. When she says where the fish are, every net comes up full. When she says there's medicine by the base of a wall, they dig it up and find just the thing to heal her older brother's leg.

Qiyu, whose right hand was crippled, picks up his medical books again. Qiheng, whose legs could barely move, is gradually able to stand.

In less than half a month, word has spread to every village within ten li that the Song family found a little lucky charm, whose words are even more accurate than the Sea Goddess's divination slips.
