I Take on My Stepmother and Crush My Wicked Stepsister, Turning the Marquis's Estate Upside Down

After transmigrating into the body of the legitimate daughter of a marquis's household, who had been sent to the countryside for ten years, Jiang Lan accidentally rescued Prince Jin from drowning. When she made a forceful return to the Jing'an Marquis household and outwitted her stepmother and stepsister, turning the place upside down, Prince Jin started clinging to her. He claimed she had kissed him, making him impure, and that she had to take responsibility. Jiang Lan cried out to the heavens that it had only been mouth-to-mouth resuscitation to save his life. Prince Jin then declared that he would repay her life-saving kindness by marrying her, and began pursuing her relentlessly.

Jiang Lan was so dizzy from his persistence that she finally gave in, but told Prince Jin to stay behind her until she had finished dealing with the household. Prince Jin obediently stayed at her back, giving her the freedom to show what she could do. But if anyone dared lay a hand on her, he would make sure they had nowhere to be buried.

Prince Jin's famous saying:

"A man should spoil his own wife. Even making her kneel as punishment is a kind of love."
