The Broke Mecha Engineer Is Running Wild at Military Academy

For free room and board, Lin Zhao signed up for the logistics and maintenance program at the Federal Military Academy.

On the day she enrolled, she was mistaken for a thief caught dismantling a mecha. Then the placement exam ranked her at the bottom with a D, and everyone waited to see her make a fool of herself.

No one expected her to reveal a rare dual talent: she could both build and pilot mechas.

While others paid a fortune for custom equipment, Lin Zhao scavenged parts from the junkyard.

While others swept the competition with top-tier mechas, Lin Zhao piloted her own cobbled-together “heap of junk” and dismantled her opponent’s weapons right there on the field.

When the Federal Military Academy League finally opened, the geniuses from every school watched her mecha gain more and more parts with every fight and finally realized there was a serious problem:

That broke girl hadn’t entered the competition to compete.

She was there to stock up.
