Once Upon a Time on Wushan Mountain

After three years of love, Jiang Yingyue is forced to part from Pei Zhi'an.

Pei Zhi'an hates her to the bone and bites her neck night after night.

He takes her by force, humiliates her, and keeps her under house arrest. Even in death, she can only die at the Marquis's residence.

Jiang Yingyue thought he still held some affection for her, until she saw him speaking gently with his betrothed.

This man was capable of tenderness after all. He simply never showed it to her.

With her mother gravely ill and her pregnancy beginning to show, Jiang Yingyue can't stay any longer.

She calmly begins plotting her own fake death.

When she looks back at the raging fire with her luggage in hand, all she feels is relief.

Pei Zhi'an refuses to believe Jiang Yingyue is really dead.

He searches far and wide, finally finding her in a small town.

The woman looks gentle. A child is holding her hand, and a man stands by her, caring for her attentively.

Pei Zhi'an goes mad.
