Back to 1997: From the Start, I Shoulder the Burden of Six Households

"Brother Xiao... please, take me." "Grandpa said that if I don't get pregnant with a Chen family child today, he'll send me back to settle the debt." In 1997, Chen Xiao wakes from a nap to find that the old man has locked him in the house. On the heated kang bed, the prettiest village girl for miles around is wrapped in a red cotton quilt. It turns out all six branches of the Chen family were wiped out away from home. Chen Xiao is the family's last surviving male heir. The iron-fisted old man gives him an ultimatum: carry on all six branches! Marry six lovely wives and give him six great-grandsons! But Chen Xiao pushes the door open, grabs a huge iron ladle, and heads straight for National Highway 104. "I'll take all the women, and I'll carry on all six family lines! But I'll earn the money to support them myself!" Starting with selling ten-yuan boxes of braised pork on a snowbound stretch of highway, Chen Xiao takes down road bullies, seizes control of the logistics business, and builds a commercial empire spanning north and south. A few years later, Chen Xiao drives back to the village in a Tiger Head Benz, with several peerlessly beautiful women behind him. The old man stares in disbelief. "You little brat, I told you to carry on the family line. How did you end up becoming the richest man in the country along the way?!"
