Rule Horror: I Slaughter My Way Through the Instances by Playing a Role

Pulled into a rules-based horror game? Don’t panic. Draw a character card first. 【Transfer student】? I’ll play one. 【Nurse intern】? I’ll play one. 【Ghost-bride】? I’ll play that, too. The more convincingly you act, the longer you live, wait, why are all these instances parts of my life? Su Jiuli is an acting student from an orphanage who accidentally bonds with the 【Thousand Faces Role-Playing System】. Inside the instances, the rules kill without spilling blood. Break them and you die; follow them and you might not survive either. While everyone else fights back with brute force, she becomes a legend through her acting. As a transfer student, she fools the NPCs and extracts information. As a nurse intern, she switches the medicine and kills the boss. As a sacrifice, she offers the priest to an ancient god. Then she discovers, The woman in the red dress in the bloody school rules is her sister, who died protecting her. The director of the terrifying hospital is the caregiver who abused her years ago. The groom in the ghost-marriage instance is the being that wants to “take her away.” Every instance is a fragment of her memories. Every boss knows her. And the man who calls himself the “director” has a face identical to hers. “I’m another you. Now it’s time to make a choice: become me, or… become the rules themselves.”
