Out of Control in the Capital by Night

Eight years ago, Fu Chengge returned from the front lines barely alive, only to be met with Shi Qian's decisive, abrupt breakup.

That night, he collapsed in the blizzard, thinking that if his heart had died, then everything would be over.

Eight years later, they met again in a war zone. She was already engaged. Eyes reddened, he asked her, "You said you'd wait for me, alive or dead. I came back alive, but what about you?"

She choked back tears in silence, believing that pushing him away would let him leave safely.

But what Shi Qian never expected was that from that day on, he had no intention of ever letting go again.

The moment all the truth came to light was also the moment they had to part.

An explosion during a mission to close the net took away all their memories.

Three years later, they met again, and fate tied them together once more.

This time, they started over. He became her handler, and she became the most disobedient member of his team.

At some point, their hearts slowly began to beat again.

He stood where he was, watching her retreating figure, and folded her fingers one by one into his palm. "It's all right if you've forgotten. I'll help you get to know me all over again."

He was her trial, and she was his.

This time, not even forgetting could stop their hearts from stirring.
