The Black Moon Strikes Back

How many steps does it take to rise from the abyss back to the top?

No one knew when Lu Baiyue had gone mad.

During all those years locked in a psychiatric hospital,

Lu Baiyue did nothing but wait,

wait for a chance to pull herself out of the mire.

That chance finally came one day,

but the man who brought it was Pan Jianian, the very man she had once manipulated with ease.

She had thought he was obedient and meek,

but in the end, he became the opponent she found hardest to control.

Yet both of them wavered:

Should they leave each other, or hold on tight?

Should they choose the knife or the thorn?

Lu Baiyue and Pan Jianian knew this much:

It was both exploitation and a hunt,

a contest between evenly matched rivals.
