Traitor! Bandit! Border Prince!

During the Zhaoye reign of the Great Yan, northern raiders invade year after year, laying waste to the eastern frontier. The transmigrator Li Zhien is full of ambition. He joins the Great Wall Army, intent on pacifying the border and achieving greatness. But he gets caught up in a frontier army rebellion, and the once-promising young officer is forced to become an outlaw. Ten years later, the court has grown even more corrupt. The frontier army pillages with impunity, and the border folk suffer miserably amid widespread devastation. Determined to fight the frontier army and kill the raiders, Li Zhien sets out to raise an army of border folk. His brothers are all formidable warriors. Under his command, they repeatedly venture deep into enemy territory, devastating the raiders and striking fear on both sides of the pass. With his brothers’ support, Li Zhien advances step by step, rising from an outlaw mountain bandit to the Great Yan’s Prince of the Frontier.
