A Pact of Stars and Moon

[Sisterly bond + court intrigue + strong female leads + two romances + childhood sweethearts + replacement romance] Mu Shuyue is the sect leader of the Xingyue Sect, a woman whose name strikes fear into the martial world. She is decisive and has never known defeat. The only time she ever softened her heart was when she found a little girl by a stream. Mu Shuyue scoured poetry collections to choose the name Xingyao for her. She raised her for ten years and never let Xingyao spill a single drop of blood. Mu Xingyao believed her big sister would never fall. Until the night their sect was destroyed, when Mu Shuyue gave up everything and knelt on the rubble. “Please, let her go!” Mu Xingyao escapes to the capital. Everyone says she looks like the new emperor's fiancée, who disappeared ten years ago. The Xiao family finds her and produces a jade pendant identical to the one at her waist! It turns out she isn't an orphan. She's Xiao Leyan, the legitimate daughter of the Xiao family, the Marquis of Dingbei's younger sister, and the new emperor's fiancée! But she has no desire to be empress. All she wants is her big sister. Mu Xingyao: “Big sister, I want to be with you forever!” Mu Shuyue: “Of course! Your big sister will take care of you for life!” Li Yuzhou: “Xingyao, I can take care of you too.” Xiao Zhe: “A-Yue, if you're taking care of her, will you still take care of me?”
