China Lies Ahead: Demons and Monsters Forbidden!

Since the Three Kingdoms era, Cao Cao had sought to conquer the realm by establishing the Mojin Captains and the Faqiu Generals to collect treasures from across the land and fund his armies. But he never expected to awaken spirits and gods beneath the earth.

Demons and monsters rose up, plunging the realm into chaos.

In the Tang dynasty, Emperor Li Shimin used the imperial sword to suppress demons and eliminate evil. To keep the realm at peace, he formed an elite guard from his personal retinue and named it the Night Patrol. In the name of Huaxia, they watched over the emperor's vast domain and patrolled the land.

Night Patrollers are guardians of the dark.

They kneel to no emperor and bow to no gods or ghosts. Bearing an official celestial warrant, they may stand before the Three Excellencies without paying their respects. They slay demons, exorcise evil, and quell the realm's uncanny mysteries.
