My Porcelain Bowl Connects Past and Present: Feeding Prince Rui During the Famine

An ancient Prince Rui, a laid-back girl, communication across time, and infrastructure-building during a famine Shen Qingqing’s porcelain bowl somehow connected to ancient times, and she unexpectedly made the acquaintance of Chu Tingyu, Prince Rui of Beiyuan. At the border between Daliang and Beiyuan, Prince Rui and his 30,000 troops were trapped in a desperate stalemate. Yellow haze filled the borderlands. The soldiers were drinking water to stave off hunger, while the people of Shaoguan City were infected with malaria. Just as Prince Rui was plunged into despair, meat buns suddenly fell from the sky. Convinced that the gods were protecting Beiyuan, he wrote a letter in his own blood, pleading for the gods to send food. When Shen Qingqing saw the gold ingots Prince Rui had sent, she rushed to deliver rice, instant noodles, and all kinds of delicious food to his army, as if she had wheels of fire beneath her feet. Her relatives mocked her for being broke and useless, spending every day cooped up in the family antique shop and scraping by. Prince Rui sent her famous paintings, antiques, gold, silver, and jeweled hairpins. Her father’s antique shop soon boomed, with customers filling the place. The current emperor was incompetent and deceived by villains. The people threw their support behind Prince Rui. After quelling the foreign wars, he eliminated the treacherous ministers, and Beiyuan entered an unprecedented golden age. Chu Tingyu sent over a lavish bridal dowry stretching for miles. He would protect Shen Qingqing, who had always watched over him, for generations to come.
