The Day Zhao Kuangyin Shared the Wine and Seized the Generals' Command, I Scolded Him into His Senses

Shen Yi transmigrated into the Northern Song Dynasty as the owner of a bookstore. His criticism of the "Wine Banquet That Disarmed the Generals" offended a scholar, but he soon crossed paths with Zhao Kuangyin, who was traveling under the alias "Zhao Dazhu." Shen Yi frankly said that although the move reclaimed military power, it also broke the military's backbone and threw civil and military affairs out of balance. He proposed establishing military academies and preserving the status of military men, which might even make it possible to reclaim Yan and Yun. Deeply moved, Zhao Kuangyin returned to the palace and immediately pushed for the academies to be built. Meanwhile, Shen Yi used the technology points he had earned by offering advice on state affairs to exchange for plans for a curved-shaft plow. He successfully built a farming tool that cut the need for animal labor in half and allowed its depth to be adjusted with ease. He had no idea that the emperor was closely watching his every move. A transformation that would change the fate of the Great Song was quietly beginning.
