You Haven't Even Enlisted Yet, So How Did You Earn First-Class Merit?

Lin Chen, a former special forces soldier, was reborn on the day he was due to enlist.

But on his way to meet the woman who had been his wife in his previous life, he came across the July 15 fire that had once shocked the entire country.

With lives on the line, Lin Chen charged into the flames without hesitation.

By himself, he managed to save twenty-one people.

Such an astonishing feat set the entire internet ablaze.

Concerned netizens began volunteering in droves, urging the authorities to award Lin Chen a First-Class Merit...

The authorities made a special exception and actually did so.

On the day the new recruits arrived, the company commander was completely dumbfounded.

"What? There's a First-Class Merit recipient among the new recruits?"

"How am I supposed to lead him?"
