[Travel Between Ancient and Modern Times, Child Star on a Film Set, Parallel Storylines, Farming and Face-Slapping, No CP, Xibao Is Very Sensible]

In a year of famine on the frontier, her father is badly wounded and unable to recover. Her nasty grandmother not only refuses to help, but also tries to steal the compensation money.

Xibao headbutts Grandma away, grabs the money, and runs off with her parents.

Just when all hope seems lost, the tiger tally her father gave her takes Xibao to another world.

The passersby wear strange clothes, and more than a dozen glowing suns hang overhead. Xibao panics a little. Where's Dad?

Other children turn up their noses at fragrant white steamed buns and can't act like they're starving during a famine.

Xibao swallows. I'll do it!

The director says, "Eat like it's delicious, eat fast, and eat until you cry."

Xibao says, "Easy!"

She's small, but incredibly talented. And so begins Xibao's life as a child star in the modern world.

Xibao travels back and forth between the two worlds, and thanks to the supplies she brings back from modern times, life starts getting better for her parents.

Her nasty grandmother shows up to mooch off them? Split the household and sever ties!

The frontier is out of food and on the verge of famine? Xibao brings back high-yield crops!

Going to school? Xibao wants to go!

As she studies, Xibao suddenly realizes her mother seems to know even more than she does.

Ancient dance and embroidery are both recognized as intangible cultural heritage in the modern world.

When Xibao returns with her trophy, she suddenly realizes: How did her father become a great general?
