Creepy Game: I Brought a Bug from an Old Version

One day, a survival MMO called Abyss Game launches worldwide. Players cannot log out, and death in the game means real death. On the surface, it’s a traditional MMORPG: fight monsters, level up, run dungeons in parties, collect gear and skills, and choose specialized roles. Fifty billion people around the world are trapped inside. Order collapses, and gaming guilds replace government institutions. This isn’t the first time the game has run. Before the “current version,” there was an old version, with different rules and maps, and even slight differences in the laws of physics. Most of the old version’s data has been erased, but one “person” was never fully deleted.
