Oh No, How Did I Fall for My Brother's Online Girlfriend?

Shang Yu, the campus heartthrob at Jing University, is known for treating romance like a game. His girlfriends come and go, and he never looks back. That is, until he fills in for a buddy and meets his online girlfriend, Yun Ran. His first impression: scheming gold digger. Then: “Why are you running? Playing hard to get?” Then: “She really does fit the bill for a fake girlfriend.” And then: “Damn, this girl is something else.” He especially admired her declaration, “I will never fall for you.” The problem was, Yun Ran was his buddy's online girlfriend. He shouldn't be thinking about her that way. He decided to swallow his feelings and let it go. Then the truth came out: Yun Ran had been standing in for someone else, too. She wasn't the one dating his buddy online at all. So what was he waiting for? He immediately offered her a huge sum to sign on as his “contract girlfriend.” Everyone asked why he chose her. He said, “I just like girls who don't like me.” From then on, the playboy turned over a new leaf, falling deeper with every date. Two years flew by, and the contract expired. Just as Shang Yu was about to ask her to make things official, Yun Ran cupped his face. “I'm bored. Let's break up.” He was furious. Fine, then. He didn't believe she'd really be willing to leave him. That night, he got completely drunk. The next day, he went to find her, only to discover she'd already left the country without a care in the world. From then on, Yun Ran's name became taboo. Shang Yu thought he could move on, but years later, the moment he saw Yun Ran again, his carefully crafted mask shattered. In private, he pinned her forcefully against the wall. “How could you... really not love me even a little?”
