Inviting a God to Possess Me

The Maos in the south and the Mas in the north are Dao practitioners; their true souls leave their bodies to seek the immortals. Dao practitioners can leave their bodies in spirit form and converse with gods and ghosts. As one of the few Dao practitioners left in the world, I journey to the bustling city to temper my heart and find my “spirit.” Vengeful ghosts, wandering souls, demonic Daoists. The truth behind a sealed, strange past, the unjust deaths of my parents and grandfather, and my true identity will all be revealed in this book.
