The System’s missions also landed squarely in the danger zone of a harmonious society: 【Mission: Cultivators, proceed immediately to the Altar of Heaven and hunt down the uncanny creatures breaching the wards】 A visitor with a ghostly label over his head wandered into the gallery. Jiang Che watched the old man’s unsteady figure and fell into thought. 【Mission: Your colleague has been bewitched by a ghostly maid and is attempting to destroy the seal on the forbidden grounds. Cultivators, apprehend the evil spirit immediately】 Jiang Che watched the warehouse manager bustling among the shelves, his expression turning peculiar. Then the System suddenly started screaming at him too: 【Warning: A cultivator is being assimilated by the uncanny!】 【This world is about to be destroyed by you. Regain your senses immediately…】
