Prime Minister, the Empress Dowager Doesn't Want to Attend Court Early

After transmigrating, Duan Qingyan became the sixteen-year-old Empress Dowager of the Dongli Kingdom.

Born with a tendency to sleep all the time, she thought she could finally spend her days sleeping until noon and coasting through life. Little did she know that she would have to deal with palace and household intrigues, as well as diligently rule from behind the curtain.

The moment she slacked off, the impossibly handsome Chancellor threatened to send her to be buried with the late emperor.

She had planned to secretly urge the Chancellor to seize the throne and replace the emperor.

But somehow, as she kept urging him on, they did plot a coup and seize the throne. Yet even after Murong Jing became emperor, he no longer felt like going to court.

At first:

Duan Qingyan yawned. "Chancellor, I don't want to attend court anymore."

Murong Jing replied with a frosty expression, "Guards, send the Empress Dowager to be buried with the late emperor."

Later:

Murong Jing clung to the person in his arms and refused to let go. "Qingqing, stay and sleep with me a little longer."

Duan Qingyan kicked him out of bed. "Who was it that wanted to send me off to be buried alive before?"
