After Fishing Up a Qing Dynasty Zombie, I Started Livestreaming My Fight for Survival

At four in the morning, Jiang Shu reels a Qing dynasty zombie out of the river.

Its face is ashen, its official robe is tattered, and its eyes, closed for more than a hundred years, open right in front of him.

He and his fishing buddy, Old Li, scramble back to town, thinking the nightmare is over.

But the nightmare has only just begun. The zombie comes after them.

Driven to the end of his rope, Jiang Shu starts a livestream on a horror forum.

The livestream title reads: "I fished a Qing dynasty zombie out of the river. Now it comes looking for me every night."

At first, the comments laugh and call him a good actor.

Jiang Shu resolutely keeps the livestream going, until tens of thousands of people see with their own eyes that the zombie is real!

The chat is a mixed bag: some people want to save him, while others want to kill him.

From then on, "Paranormal Investigator Jiang Shu" becomes the forum's most popular streamer.

From an ordinary man who can't even draw a talisman, he takes one step at a time into the world of occult arts hidden beneath the shadows of the city.

He discovers that behind this world's steel and concrete lies another order, one that has been operating for a thousand years.
