Reborn in 1989: Who Still Takes a Female Special Forces Unit Along?

Zhao Gu, a military scion reenlisting for a second tour, transmigrates to 1989 and finds himself at a military conference packed with senior officers.

"Starting today, we're launching a nationwide military-wide selection to form our country's first special forces unit! We need to catch up with the world's best! Who's for it, who's against?"

"Catching up means always lagging behind. If we're doing this, we should be first! I propose we form the world's first female special operations unit at the same time!"

The order is issued, and the women soldiers sent over by their units are all top-notch troublemakers, delivered with tears and pleas to take them off their hands.

The combat queen who won three consecutive all-army championships, yet gave a military police officer a concussion.

The madwoman who got into Peking University but willingly dropped out to enlist, shocking the entire military district.

The rich girl from a military compound who defied orders and switched units seven times in three years. The poker-faced assassin who can make a thousand-meter headshot with iron sights. The demolition twins who love sleeping and are always threatening to blow up the camp... Each one is harder to handle and more outrageous than the last.

Everyone waits to see the joke: what can a weakling and a bunch of women possibly accomplish?

Zhao Gu smiles.

CQB, armed swimming, wilderness survival, extreme anti-encirclement drills... He throws every kind of hellish training at them. The troublemaker soldiers grow to love and hate their training, crying and wailing all the while.

"Instructor! I don't want to run anymore!"

"No problem. I'll drive after you and send the dogs to chase you."

"Instructor! Are you a demon?"

"Thanks for the compliment. As a reward, you'll get an extra hundred li of armed forced march."

"Oh, nice! Comrade, you know so much. Does that mean I have Stockholm syndrome?"

Then comes the joint military exercise.

They give the world's armies a brutal lesson.

How did a makeshift women's unit and a rich kid who was only supposed to pad his resume manage to tear through SEAL Team Six!?
