A Misty Night of Passionate Love

"He's so hard to please!"

At a gathering of the socialites of Wudu, Tan Qiu watched Meng Cibei's legendary first love, newly returned from abroad, and curled her red lips in a taunt. "Especially at night."

The first love's face darkened. Tan Qiu picked up her globally limited-edition handbag and got into the Meng family's car to go home.

Tan Qiu had been waiting for Meng Cibei to ask for a divorce ever since he and his first love got back in touch. She would take half his fortune, live the carefree life of a rich wife, and keep a whole group of handsome young men.

But as Tan Qiu waited, Meng Cibei showed no sign of wanting a divorce. Instead, he came home more and more often.

When he saw the divorce papers Tan Qiu had signed long ago, Meng Cibei went straight into the bathroom and cornered her. "When did I ever say I wanted a divorce? What, you think I'm some kind of recycling bin, ready to take you back just because someone else has come back?"
