A Lucky Little Treasure from 1970s Northeast China: She Comes Down the Mountain and Feasts on Meat with the Whole Base

[Patriotic Story] [Handing Everything Over to the State] [Animal Speech] [Word-Based Powers] [Lucky Charm]

Deep in the forests of Changbai Mountain in Northeast China, a classified radar base has been snowed in and without food for half a month. Team leader Han Qingming decides to dig a path through the snow, but beneath a pine tree he finds a five-year-old girl.

To everyone's astonishment and disbelief, Fubao brings the radar base one blessing after another.

No food?

Fubao points, and a wild chicken appears from the sky and lays eggs.

No way through?

The snow where Fubao walks melts in the heat of a forest fire, flowing away to reveal a hidden mountain path.

A senior professor working on vital national technology collapses?

Fubao pats his face and says, “Stop sleeping and get up!” The professor comes back to life!

The soldiers at the radar base no longer have to worry about the cold, hunger, or illness.

They finally understand what it means when people say, “Club a musk deer, scoop up fish with a dipper, and wild chickens fly straight into your cooking pot.”

“Building a radar station? Send Fubao out to pick the best location.”

“Found mineral deposits? With Fubao around, the enemy will be desperate to steal our resources.”

“The enemy is attacking? Fubao will direct the radar and blast their missiles out of the sky!”

Fubao plants her hands on her hips. “With me here, who dares cause trouble?!”
