Mr. Huo Lied About Being Frigid, Then Went to Prenatal Checkups with His Dream Girl

In their two years of marriage, Lu Ming has undergone IVF eight times for her husband, Huo Xuqi. Each time, she lies alone on the cold operating table. When she wakes, there is no one by her side. He says he has “emotional detachment syndrome” and cannot love, touch, or keep her company. She believes him. Until the day she runs into Huo Xuqi at the hospital, tenderly holding his pregnant first love as she goes in for a checkup. Yet on the phone, he says he is “in a meeting at the office.” It turns out he can love. He just doesn’t love her. When she asks for a divorce, he refuses to let go. “Don’t even think about it.” The shock gives her father another heart attack. Outside the emergency room, Lu Ming finally sees the truth: This marriage has been a joke from beginning to end. This time, she’s done.
