By Imperial Decree! Heaven's Mandate Has It That I'm Dead

In her previous life, she was a celebrated war hero, yet her husband's family carefully plotted her murder because she was ugly.

In this life, she returns from the dead, stepping over a mountain of corpses, with military power in one hand and the fate of the realm in the other.

The husband who will kill her one day is still a well-behaved young concubine-born son.

Her sister, all sweet smiles on the surface, is slipping her a sachet meant to attract hornets.

She curls her lips into a smile. "Keep acting, all of you. Go on."

Then she stuffs the sachet into her sister's own mother's arms and watches the hornets sting her into a swollen mess.

The concubine: "That girl is poison!"

Her: "If I can't poison you to death, then I wasted two lifetimes."

While teaching her enemies a lesson, she is caught red-handed by the Ninth Prince himself.

He smiles and asks, "Want revenge?" She nods. He hands her a marriage contract. "Marry me, and they'll kneel to greet you."

Later, at a palace banquet, her former husband kneels before her and stammers, "Your servant... greets the Ninth Prince's Consort."
