As a God Descends

Zhao Ming was exiled to a prison planet, Nuclear Waste Star, where wild plants and animals grew into terrifying, deadly threats. But with a genetic engineering System, he saw the place as paradise. The entire planet was his laboratory. Select species, evolve civilizations, advance genetic evolution, and break free of shackles. A red ant declared with calm authority, “The ancient ants came before the heavens!” A golden fly beat its wings and cried, “I rose in the East to be the Divine Emperor, the first sovereign within the sun!” Insects, flowers, plants, birds, and beasts all became gods and demons waging war in a primeval world. Wearing a spacesuit, Zhao Ming stood outside the experimental grounds, godlike and beyond the Dao, gazing down. “To truly evolve civilization and keep optimizing genes, we still need humans to guide the process!” In the human world, someone accidentally clicked a link on a gaming forum. “Game: Sitting in Oblivion. Enter meditation and become a god. Welcome to the primeval world, where you can discover the true mysteries of life!” Become a sage in the game, unlock your genetic shackles in the real world, and evolve to grow stronger! Thus began humanity's rise!
