The Herrscher of Flamescion in a Broken World

“Elysia, why are you always dropping hints to try to find out how Mikhail is doing?”

“Oh? Am I? Maybe it's because he was the only Herrscher of our era who fought for humanity! He was both the First Herrscher and a human named Mikhail. Yes! That must be it!” Elysia only gave Mei a faint smile in response to her question.

“What about Mobius?”

“Humph!” The little green-haired girl gave an offhand snort and turned her head away.

“And who else?” Mei covered her face.

“Pardo?”

“W-w-w... What! Kalpas cares about Boss Mikhail too!”

“Get lost!”

“Kevin?”

“It's not quite what you think. To us, he means something far more important: he's family, someone who promised to walk together with us into the future.”
