The Mastermind Behind Hogwarts

Just after Gilderoy Lockhart became Minister for Magic, several unwelcome guests showed up at his office.

Dumbledore: “Minister, I regret to inform you that Moriarty Slytherin is the most deeply concealed figure in the European Wizarding World!”

Lovegood, editor of The Quibbler: “Minister, look at this: the Hogwarts riot, the great Himalayan avalanche, the Gringotts heist, the Quidditch World Cup betting bonanza, the Nurmengard explosion, the mass breakout from Azkaban, and the Durmstrang disturbance. Every one of these unsolved cases points to one person, Moriarty Slytherin!”

Lucius, the platinum-haired aristocrat: “On behalf of the Pure-blood families, I strongly demand that you issue a warrant for Moriarty Slytherin! Oh, Minister, don't look at me so greedily. Moriarty made off with all the pure-bloods' money.”

Gilderoy Lockhart gave his trademark smile. “Allow me to introduce my young master, the greatest wizard in history, master of dawn and darkness, controller of ice and lightning, the legendary Archmage: Moriarty Slytherin!”

This is the story of a young wizard who cares only about magic and becomes the mastermind behind the scenes in the Harry Potter world.
