I Become a Deity in Journey to the West

Traveling to the old mountains and rivers in the West, writing the path of immortality that belongs only to mortals - "I Become an Immortal in the Journey to the West" When the story of Journey to the West has long been fixed in the ending where Tang Monk and his disciples achieve enlightenment and the light of Buddha shines in Lingshan Mountain, most of the Journey to the West fans either follow the Buddhist scripture-seeking team all the way westward, or go back to the old path of the great sage causing havoc in the heavenly palace. However, "I Was a God in Journey to the West" takes a completely different path. The protagonist is not a reincarnated sage, nor is he a Buddhist scripture seeker. He is just an alien who was born in the form of a golden finger and landed in the Three Worlds of Journey to the West, where the waves have been settled. There is no violent rhythm of exciting writing that overturns the heavens and crushes spiritual mountains right from the beginning. This book focuses on the world after the dust has settled on the great incident of seeking scriptures. In the original Journey to the West, there are levels of red tape in the heavens, calculations and games hidden in the spiritual mountains, and the gods and Buddhas in the sky may seem glamorous, but in fact they all have their own shackles. This book breaks away from the core theme of "obtaining scriptures" and writes about the sentient beings in the three realms behind the Lingxiao Palace, the Tusita Pill Furnace, and the Leiyin Baolian. We see God's enjoyment, but also God's shackles; we see the Buddha's appearance of mercy, and we also see the trade-offs and plans behind it. The book is 2.97 Million words long, and it lays out the details of the world of Journey to the West. The author understands the charm of classical fairy tales very well. The opening verses outline a complete picture of the Three Realms: the Jade Edict Lingxiao, the Golden Elixir Refining Medicine, and the Lingshan Baolian. The text has a sense of quaint atmosphere, which fits the national style background of the original work of Journey to the West. The protagonist plays the human world, wandering among the various forces of immortals, gods, Buddhas, and demons. He is not obsessed with simply killing, but more with dealing with, observing, and participating in the game. The most touching core of this book is stated at the end: the book begins with a journey to the west and ends with a journey to the west. Pay tribute to the eternal "Journey to the West" and pay tribute to the eternal Monkey King! It is not to overthrow the original work, but to continue to write about the world based on the ending of the original work with respect. After the story of the Great Sage comes to an end, the Three Realms are still functioning, and the fate of countless people continues. The great sage resists the constraints, while the protagonist of this book seeks his own free and easy path to immortality in the established order of the three realms. Of course, the work also has shortcomings, because the layout is too broad, the ink distribution of some branch characters is uneven, the rhythm of some bridge sections is slow, and the conflict points are not dense. But as a complete spin-off of Journey to the West, it rarely retains the awe of the original Journey to the West. It does not blindly modify and spoof it. Through the fan shell, it can relive the joys and sorrows and games of the world of Journey to the West. Looking back at the whole story, it turns out that Journey to the West is not only a journey through the Eighty-One Difficulties, but also an entire universe of human phenomena in the vast Three Realms.
