Li Shimin Reborn in the Fall of the Tang

After the An Lushan Rebellion, the once-glorious Tang dynasty began its decline. By the reign of Emperor Dezong, the dynasty was already too far gone to save, and the upheavals known as the Rebellion of the Four Princes and Two Emperors and the Jingyuan Mutiny plunged it into further chaos. Dezong was forced to abandon Chang'an and flee to the small county of Feng Tian.

The imperial capital had fallen, members of the imperial family had been slaughtered, and rebel forces surrounded the city. The situation was critical. It seemed the Tang dynasty was about to vanish in an instant.

At that very moment, Li Shimin, Taizong, the man who had built the Tang dynasty with his own hands, was reborn. Faced with a realm riddled with wounds, a dynasty falling apart, common people suffering in dire straits, and the incompetent sons and grandsons of his Li family... What path should Li Shimin take?!

With a resolute heart, I lay my hand upon my long sword. To save the world, I seek no fame. Once, war drums thundered across the land. Now, all beneath heaven is at peace!
