A Civil Servant in the Zhenguan Era

In the first year of the Zhenguan era of the Tang dynasty, Li Shimin, newly enthroned as emperor and forced to sign the Treaty of the Wei River, gritted his teeth as he sharpened his blade. Just then, Chen Ping'an transmigrated, dropping straight down in front of Li Shimin. The two stared wide-eyed at each other. Li Shimin: “Are you an immortal?” Chen Ping'an: “No, I'm an ordinary person.” Facing the young Tang dynasty and an emperor preparing his troops for war, Chen Ping'an has an extraordinarily powerful memory. Every experience from his previous life remains vivid, and from then on, he draws on everything he read in history books and forums, as well as his knowledge as a science student, to lead the Tang dynasty toward industrialization. Decades later. “Choo!!!” As the Tang dynasty's first train departs Chang'an, black smoke and white steam billow like yin and yang. Wherever it passes, thousands cry out in amazement. Li Shimin: “Will everyone be an ordinary person like you a thousand years from now?” A Tang dynasty civil servant serves the emperor above and brings peace to the people below.
