Three Kingdoms: I Join Uncle Liu to Crush the Aristocratic Clans

One day, Liu Bei went to prison and heard a few words. After that, under the guidance of his close ally Yan Zheng, Liu Bei came to understand the root cause of the Han dynasty’s problems. So he embarked on an unconventional path to restore the Han dynasty. Yan Zheng: “Haven’t you noticed? You can’t do without the court, you can’t do without the people, but somehow you really can do without the aristocratic clans. Cut out the middlemen, and you save a whole lot of money and grain!” So Liu Bei decided to rely on and mobilize the people of the Han dynasty to wipe out the aristocratic clans. Yan Zheng: “Without family wealth or connections, how can an ordinary person gain a foothold in the Central Plains, where the aristocratic clans hold so much power? Go somewhere their influence is weak. That’s where you can build a future!” So Liu Bei decided to find somewhere to lie low and quietly build up his strength. Meanwhile, Yan Zheng went ahead and did two things: first, he took a page from Huang Chao’s book; second, he redistributed land.
