I Died My Way to Godhood in a Game

[A variant on the infinite-flow genre, original amusement-park dungeons, deep game lore, and the Fourth Calamity!] The real world is easygoing; life in the nightmare game is anything but. Shen Senguangs receives a package and gets a game simulator. Every game inside resembles a real world, and he can bring back items, talents, and skills. He outsmarts a chainsaw killer in the sewers, plays Werewolf with spies in space, takes on the Nazis in a life-or-death sniper battle deep underground, trades smiles and hidden daggers with the Heavenly Demon Cult in the Jiaofang Bureau, and unleashes a sword strike from beyond the heavens atop the Forbidden City. He fights in the war on Mars, snatches the insectoid overlord’s head from the midst of a million troops, and counters the Eighteen Dragon-Subduing Palms with the Tathagata Palm... The protagonist’s skill progression currently follows the firearms, ritual, and ancient martial arts paths. What comes next is still undecided. Who says you can’t make a living playing games? Who says games are easy and a waste of time? And game designers, get out here and face your doom! I’ll chop you into atoms and give the world what it deserves! (Original games of all kinds, easygoing life, games becoming reality, and the simulator genre. There are quite a few deaths, so readers with heart conditions should proceed with caution.) Keywords: martial arts, action blockbusters, loops, Tathagata Palm, mechanical ascension, ion activation, sixth-generation space station...
