Honghuang: From Golden Whiskered Ao Fish to Primordial Great Immortal

The blue sea’s tides have lulled the ages to sleep; the Ao swims the vast waters, condensing the fruit of the Dao.

The four seas and eight wilds praise my sacred deeds; the universe honors my name!

With the mystic power to create heaven and earth, I command the rarest treasures of the cosmos.

Wielding the wondrous treasures of primordial chaos, I attain the boundless sacred realm.

I forge a unique path among the Three Thousand Great Daos, and call it: Caution!

“Uphold the essence of the Three Nothings and Three Observances.”

“No karma, no tribulations, no reckless struggles.”

“Keep to simplicity, stillness, and the middle way.”

“Steady as Mount Buzhou’s rock, still as I contemplate the boundless primordial chaos.”
