The Rejected Little Jinx Is the Real Oracle

Little Lingbao was infamous in the Wang family as a jinx. Her birth supposedly killed her mother, and whenever she opened her mouth, bad luck followed. At just three years old, she was abused and kicked out of her adoptive parents' home! Then her eight uncles came in glorious fashion to welcome their little princess back to the Ling family, where they spoiled her rotten and gave her the stars and the moon. The Wang family munched on sunflower seeds and watched the show. Whoever took in that little crow-mouth would be doomed. They'd sit back and wait for the Ling family to go gloriously bankrupt~ Little Lingbao chirped, “The Ling family is about to become the richest family in the country!” As soon as the words left her mouth, the Ling family reclaimed the top spot among the nation's richest and shot straight to number one on the global wealth rankings for the year. The Wang family fumed: “Just you wait. That little jinx will curse the entire Ling family to death!” Little Lingbao snuggled up to Grandpa Ling, who was on his deathbed: “Grandpa, you'll live to be a hundred!” She stroked her fourth uncle's badly injured hand: “Uncle, you'll get better right away!” Then she patted her uncle in a vegetative state: “Uncle, wake up already!” Once spoken, her words became reality! The scattered members of the Ling family all sprang back to life. The lovelorn found their destined partners, the down-and-out rose to success, and the one missing for years... came soaring down from the sky in a private jet, shining with golden light. Powerful figures from every corner of the country flocked to her, lining up just to get Little Lingbao to say something auspicious. The Wang family regretted everything. The child they'd abandoned was actually a blessed baby with the power of prophetic words! So they knelt down and pleaded, “Please, little ancestor, spare us a few kind words.” Little Lingbao: “Can't spare any. I'm just a jinx.”
