The Archivist of Great Zhou

At the end of the Western Zhou, the world was in turmoil.

The Hundred Schools of Thought arose during the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods, each treating its teachings as a form of mystical art. Those who reached the pinnacle became sages.

Daoism, Confucianism, Mohism, Yin-Yang, the School of Diplomacy, medicine, agriculture, military strategy, the School of Names, Legalism, eclecticism, fiction...

And in this era, a young man arrived from the modern world. He had just become the royal archivist in the Grand Court of the Zhou state of Da Ting...

"Cultivate the Dao through your own body, and let those who have attained it lead the way..."

"Since I've come to this age, I must make history for the generations to come!"

PS1: The Zhou Dynasty setting is fictional. Please don't nitpick the historical details.

PS2: This isn't a System novel. The interface comes from the River Chart. There are no stat points or quests. He's simply learning too much, and I'm afraid readers won't remember it all. I can't remember it all either.

PS3: The timeline is compressed, and characters appear in a jumbled order. The states compete for supremacy, the Hundred Schools contend, and the sages debate the Dao. (Laozi, Zhuangzi, Mengzi, and Xunzi lived in different eras, but they all appear at the same time.)
